Vox Nativa Children’s Choir was established in 2008 in Taiwan under Vox Nativa Association. Its conductor is Principal Bukut Tasvaluan from the Bunun Tribe. Members are from minority ethnicities in various tribes throughout the Jade Mountain ranges in Nantou County. Most members come from poor families but they are serious learners whose voices are clear, pure, harmonious, and from the depth of their souls. Vox Nativa Association aims to cultivate talented youngsters from minority ethnicities to become tribal role models and give back to the tribes, and also to train the choir with international standards in order to preserve and spread the arts and culture of minority ethnicities, and to bring the voices of Jade Mountain to the world.
